The rooftop is L'Arche's true signature. Lunch in the sun, a drink at golden hour, dinner as the city lights up, and the Château d'Angers with its seventeen towers right there, across the way.
The terrace is planted with greenery, set with garden furniture, and serves both the restaurant menu and the bar's: cocktails, Loire wines chosen by our sommelier, sharing boards.

The weekday set menu Monday to Friday, the full menu every day. A break in the sun facing the Château, in under an hour if you are in a hurry.
Golden hour
Signature cocktails, Loire wines and boards to share. The moment the Château's stone turns to gold and the city slows down.
Dinner
The bistronomic menu on the terrace until 10:30 pm, then the bar until midnight. Book ahead: the tables facing the view go first.

Frequently asked questions
Is the rooftop open in winter?
Yes, L'Arche is open all year round. The rooftop depends on the weather; on rainy or very cold days, La Verrière and the salons take over, with the same view of the Château.
Can we come just for a drink?
Yes, the bar serves continuously from 10:30 am to midnight. At mealtimes, tables go first to guests having lunch or dinner.
Do we need to book?
In the evening and at weekends, yes. Booking online takes seconds; for a group of ten or more, contact us directly.
Is the rooftop accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes. The house has a lift serving the rooftop and the dining rooms. Mention it when booking and we will keep you an easy-access table.
